Can you share a defining moment in your musical journey that motivated you to start DJ'ing?

I have been in love with music for 22 years. After losing my wife, I devoted myself to music. I started playing with a friend of mine at home. I also hosted a party for people where I was a DJ. The incredible energy , happiness and gratitude of the people who listened to me showed me that I really wanted to connect my life with music. I wanted to experience these feelings over and over again.

What challenges have you faced as a beginner?

Most importantly, it was hard to believe in myself. There were ups and downs. I didn’t understand which music I should choose.. How did I overcome all this? I just kept making music, trusting myself and my dream. I listened to other DJs a lot, and was inspired by them. I figured if they could, then I could too. Step by step!

What is a memorable performance or gig that had an impact on your career?

In 2022, I entered the Tomorrowland Academy for the first time. That trip turned out to be significant and inspiring for me! My teachers at the academy cool people and very professional. Thanks to the Academy, I started growing up in the DJ field. The festival itself and the famous DJs at it also inspired me a lot! It was after that trip that I began to clearly understand myself and my goals!

What advice would you give to aspiring DJs and producers?

Constantly, practice music every day, even playing music for 1 hour a day will bring you closer to your dream! Listen to the songs of different DJs, different directions in music, constantly trying something new. Play anywhere and for everyone where the opportunity is given!

How do you handle creative blocks?

You need to go through this. Take a break from music and collect your thoughts.. I usually meet friends, watch movies, walk on the street alone to find clarity and rest. Then I start listening to music to find inspiration and start making music. Always give yourself time to rest if you feel you need it.

As a Tomorrowland Academy graduate, what message do you want to tell future students?

No one will say it will be easy. One day you will fall, and the day will come when you will not be able to stand up especially if you are in a country like I live in, where life is difficult. During this time, never stop working and believing in yourself!
